Simone has studied visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht, Brussels and Prague. Her work is conceptual with the ability to produce compelling visuals from complex ideas. She currently lives and works as a freelancer in the south of the Netherlands.
Her illustrations can be seen regularly in newspapers in print and on line and the covers of both books and magazines.
Frequent themes are: science, psychology, ecology, society, career, and contemporary contradictions.​
On line her illustrations have been published on websites as NPR, Oprah, Mashable, the Week, Tonic, the Irish Times and Financial news London.
